Fiore Sardo 500 gr. - Slow Food Sardinia Cheese
Pecorino from Sardinia. it is made as it was done more than 2000 years ago. One of the oldest and most renowned raw milk cheeses in the world. Milk and curdled milk (kid's rennet). Our producer Giovanni works and produces in Orgosolo, 700 mt. above sea level, in Sardinia Supramonte, where rich and uncontaminated pastures give us back, through sheep, a milk with inimitable characteristics. The cheese, as per tradition, is smoked externally through the smoke of shrubs of the Mediterranean scrub and its edible rind - brushed lovingly with Olive Oil, during the seasoning.
